Hi people.

the lexus is going in to the clutch place tommorow to have the clutch changed. im kind of expecting him to say the flywheel will need replacing as i get judder sometimes when i pull away. the clutch is now slipping, thats why im having it replaced.

i understand these flywheels are quite expensive so can my original be skimmed and put back in.

whats is the cheapest way to sort the problem out?

ive thought about going the lightened flywheel route but where would i get one next day for a decent price?

yeah i thought that would be the case with the lightened flywheel.

cool. how many miles has your spare flywheel done? what sort of money u wanting for it?

i did ask in the garage when i dropped the car off earlier and the guy reckoned you cant have them skimmed. i thought that sounded wierd cos i see a thread where you had posted that u had had urs done. thats why i asked the question. i reckon the guy said that so he didnt have to bother messing about getting it skimmed.

cheers

neil
