Help! The Stereo Has Stopped Working!

Recommended Posts

Gents,

Need some help please...URGENTLY! So this mornings task was to install a Nokia Bluetooth car kit (CK-7W) into the IS. I tapped into the cig lighter feed and all worked well...until I put everything back together! The stereo now won't turn on!!!!!

I've checked for power coming into the multi-block connector that fits into the back of the stereo and there is indeed some so I can't figure it out?? The nav works fine, as do all the buttons, electric seats, etc. yet the stereo just wont power up :(

Any ideas please required urgently!!!!

Ta,

Noman

I've checked the fuse box inside the car (passenger footwell). Will go and see the other one in the engine compartment.

Thankfully all sorted! As suggested by "Lexynik" I needed to check ALL the fuse boxes! There was another radio fuse in the 'box located in the engine bay! Quick trip to Halfords to get the "20" rated fuse and all is now good once again! Phew! A VERY big relief :)

Cheers!
