Got a TTE Front bumper to hand on thursday,

gave it a good polish that night and resprayed the mesh in Matt black...

here it goes !! (although it was raining yesterday, just cant wait and squeezed a few hours free to get it done )

Look alot nicer than the orignal one.

it was a used parts but it very good condition,

i paid 250 for it......is it abit over priced?

but i finally understand whats the difference between FRP and PU bumper

Nice one mate, if that came painted then the price is fine! Transforms the front end........do you have any pics of your rear as well? Can't tell exactly from your avatar but have you created a twin exhaust exit on a TTE rear skirt? Really interested to see how you've done that as might be interested myself :)

I bought one off eBay the other day, off XK Engineering, the people who where selling some TTE grills a while back. My front bumper was gonna cost 90 quid to respray, plus the car off the road for a few days, but I bought a brand new one, in the box, complete with washers, and factory painted, for 150 quid, so had a good deal. I was lucky, I went on looking for a cheapo bumper to put on my car while mine was repsrayed, and the TTE one had been listed an hr before so I bought it there and then, now all I need to do is get round to fitting it, then my old one will be up for sale, just need to find the time, new kitchen for the missus is higher up the list at the moment,lol.

you can get the bumpers for £60.00-£120.00 up i paid £80.00 for mine their is a few on ebay now....

I'm looking for one of these but can't find any genuine on eBay (with the headlight washers). Any chance of a link?

you don't need to look for one with headlight washers.....the template is on the back of the bumper you just cut it out... :D

I have question about tte front bumper. I had an accident and my front bumper /tte/ got destroyed i have headlights washers and i cannot find the tte bumper with washers. Is it possible to make hole in tte bumper which has no place for headlights washers ?? Or there will be problem in mounting the engines for them. At the back the bumpers with and without washers are exact the same ?? I read message above but i want to be 100 %sure before i buy it.

Mines in the bodyshop being resprayed at the momemt but had markings for where the bumper should be cut for washers. I haven't done mine yet as I want to take the old bumper off and check everything will be aligned right before I do the cut outs. Make sure its a genuine TTE PU bumper as replicas wont have the cutouts marked.

I think that maybe i can buy replica /the original part is very hard to find/ and make the cuts out in the same places. I also have the destroyed front bumper which is genuine tte bumper so maybe i can compare them. Is there any additional things i must look for ?? for example the mechanism of raising and hiding the washers needs special mounting points on the inside of bumper ??

Will do mate, just waiting for it to be resprayed and I'll get the info/pics when i'm fitting it.
