Help !

Hi Everyone, I am an old returning member from 2005-07 I used to be a regular on here but that was when I still had the burning passion that comes with owning a lexus ! sadly new things in my life changed all that like my 2 boys and working what seems like 20 hours a day, anyway back to the point over christmas my oil pump failed on my is200sport 2001 model causing timing belt damage causing needing a new engine damage :tsktsk: ! ! AARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH Sooooo decided to cut my losses and sold it as was needing an engine ! ( got £1000 on eBay )

This leads me to here and today, I know how amazing and helpfull the members on here are today and I am asking for your help and advice, I was close, very close indeed to buying an Audi A4 but before a deal was struck I saw what was prob an fsport and felt my mouth drop slightly . . .

So the problem is I have round £12000 and think after reading some posts on here prob the Is250 is the best car for me, mileage/distance isn't much, but I am now on the hunt, and its all want want want !! would like 18" alloys, multimedia, under 60k and black interior prob black grey or poss silver, so thats really it !

Have I made the right choice ? regarding the 250 / A4

Where is the best place to look and are there any negatives I need to know about with the 250, I have read some negatives on the 220D
