Side Mirrors Out Of Position

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Has anyone experienced their side mirrors on a IS250 going out of position when the mirrors are folded or when the car is put into reverse?

I am 100% sure I have this problem however Lexus were unable to replicate the issue when I took the car in.

Now I am baffled, I am not sure if they are trying to avoid doing some work under warranty or if they really couldn't replicate the problem....

When you put the car in reverse the side mirrors dip to point down to the road, is that what you mean? It's meant to do that depending on position of the switch.

I am aware of this, it's when they come back into position either from going into reverse or being closed that they don't retain the previous position they were in.
