Couple Of Bulb Issues, Very Annoying!

Hey guys,

Having a small issue with my drivers side brake light, it basically keeps going on and off with the little warning sign coming on the dash, and now when I put my headlights on I'm now getting the little car with lights on the dash also, I've tried changing the bulb but to no avail, I've noticed when I put the bulb in the little plastic connector its a little loose so I have used electrical tape to wrap around the bulb and connector to keep it in place but after a week or so the warning light comes on the dash again, has anybody had the same issue and knows a fix? Or can you buy a new bulb connector from somewhere???

Also My seal has gone on my passenger side fog light causing bulbs to constantly blow, just checked eBay for any breakers but none on, anybody got a spare????

seen this problem a lot....you need to push the bulb in with a lot of pressure till you hear a loud click that will sort your problem out you just havent pushed it in far enough seriously though give it a really good push also tape round the bulb is a very bad idea!!it will melt!!!!!!

also remove the fog put it in the oven pull the lense off it reseal and refit job done!!

The seal on the fog has completely come off where the bulb clicks in and inside the silver surround of the fog has gone black, think a new one is required? :(

just get a new o ring and try and clean the surround.....

Pushed the bulb until it clicked but now the bulb is only working when I put the headlights on, its not getting brighter when I press the brake pedal??

I've tried 2 bulbs.

you have got the wrong bulb matey you need a dual eliment one..

Hi mate Im pretty sure its a dual element one as theres the 2 small bridge like connections where the filament is??
