Problem For My Lexus Is 200

HI! I'm new in your club:)

I have 2 questions maybe somebody can help me, please.

1. when I turn off engine and close doors , the light in panel(were is clock) still dear???

2.I got a central key( it's works when I push the button from inside( in doors), but don't works when I push button on key...????Were can be problem?

dont even understand one of the questions never mind the two of them.......

their is no description of the first fault

And my main key don't work automatically...Why??

you need to get some one to look at the amp bypass because thats what the problem sounds like and it has happened before were the wires are muddled up on the bypass lead

I have a similar problem, the key physically starts the car via the ignition but will not lock the car when trying to use the buttons on the key's fob. I've changed the batteries and it appears to be working because the LED lights up on the fob when the buttons are pressed. The central locking can be operated from inside the car. The stereo is also not the the original, I fitted the stereo myself using an amp bypass lead. The fault with the key/central locking didn't arise until sometime after the stereo exchange. Any Ideas?
