Black Wheels

Hi

OK i dont know alot about modified/tuned cars or some of the latest craze but whats the deal with wheels painted black ? i seem to see many of them, lexus included - thats OEM 17inch is200 wheels, and i recently saw a 04 porsche 911 with OEM wheels painted black, doesnt look like some sort of SE/limited edition or a specific sport model just a normal 911, cant say i liked it much or doesnt do car justice !! if people are reconditioning/refurb them err there is original colour that looks fine.

It's a copy of an american craze. Over there is a craze for black cars, all windows tinted, even tinted lights and black wheels... started by all rappers, not the same when its on a corsa with pikey driving... doesn't look so badass
