P1153 ..p155 Codes..

I have a 2001 RX 300 .I recently got the check light with VSC .etc all lit up too.

The code read was 1153 = sensor ..bank 2 ..sensor 1.

Changed it out today ..now I have a p1155 code = bank1 ..sensor 1.

Is this normal?

Thanks ahead of time .....bank2 is the forward one [easy to get to]..is bank 1 sensor difficult to change out?

I had my Bank 1 Sensor 1 changed a couple of months ago, I was told at the time it might prompt the Bank 2 Sensor 1 to show up a fault when it was done as they had seen this before, but so far all is well.

I personally think the rear sensor is the one that fails first as the temperatures around the back of the engine are higher, the front sensor gets a stream of relatively cold air all day long.
