Is200 Lsd

Hi- I'm a newbie and have a question!

I have a is200 sport with aero kit fitted

The numbers on the vin plate suggest it has a LSD but wen you jack both wheels up the diff operates like a open diff! Are these any different to any other LSD ie bothh wheels should rotate the same way?

If not I Pressume it's been took out and sold on?

no mate the diff in your car is a torsen type.....its a torque multiplyer system ie hand spinning a wheel wont make any torque their for the other wheel wont move....go to a area with stones/grass/mud and take off hard you will see two lines as the diff will lock

Sounds similar to the quaife (spelling) atb diff fitted to the rs focus mk 1
