Ls400 Telescopic Steering Problem

Hello.

I am having problems with the telescopic steering column adjustment on my '98 LS400. It doesn't operate on preset position or manual switch, I just hear a clicking noise from a solenoid.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, thanks for the advice, had a look on youtube but those videos only cover tilt and not telescopic. Tilt's working fine.

Any suggestions? :) Thanks.

I'd imagine it's exactly the same problem, just on the gear that winds the wheel back and forward. I have the PDF file that details its location and how to get to it, but it's a fairly complicated procedure.
