Loosing Water?

i have only owned the car for 6mnths always wanted 1 now i have i gotta leak cant find it in engine comp, floor of car not wet(carpets) but is dripping from underneath n s f footwell and if i turn fan off the windscreen mists up and left long enough wet spots hhheeelllppp............

dont worry found it was the heater matrix soundproofing under the carpet was that gd carpet not even wet : } is it possible too bypass this marix for a wk will it cause any long term damage?????????

If you can bypass it from within the engine compartment it may be worth doing, in the short term and shouldn't do any harm but keep an eye on the temperature gauge.

To get to the heater matrix means a major dash strip down so rather than bypass it there you would be better off doing the replacement instead.
