No Ls's In Yorkshire

First time I have been this far North in Yorkshire and felt sure that over the 300 mile journey I would see at least one or two but nope not a single one. Went to the The Tan Hill Inn but nope none their either, 300 mile journey back down to Hampshire with a short diversion into Wetherby to visit some friends but nope none there or on the journey back home.

So not only are these cars the greatest cars in the world but they are also the rarest.

If you ever go in that direction and need B & B or just a meal I can thoroughly recommend The CB Inn at Arkengarthdale great staff, great food.and very clean and comfortable rooms

I sometimes see another on my way to work and I give the guy a wave but nothing back so far. Think he might be slightly bemused by my antics!

I've driven from Brighton to Norwich and back and not seen another one, either. When I got my smart car seven years ago, most other smart drivers would wave when we passed, but they don't do that any more because there are so many of them on the road now. As there are so few LS400s I usually wave when I see one - on the basis that it could well be another club member. Wasn't there a thread a while back about 'to wave or not to wave'?

I always wave and I love the look on their faces when it dawns on them that my Lexie is a taxi .They are surprised at first but then smile as if to say " what a damn fine taxi that must be"

I gave a guy near Edinburgh a wave last year and got a wave back, which I thought was really cool!

I have waved to other LS owners but to no avail.

Was in convoy with another LS430 on the weekend (his was silver, mine in chiltern green) but got nothing when I pulled alongside to make a turn.
