Water Pool In Boot Under Jack

Recommended Posts

I've got the same problem as I found out when fitting my tow bar the other day. There's a rubber bung at the bottom of those two boot wells that you can remove to let the water out. For now I've left mine out so the water has somewhere to drain.

I've no idea where it's coming from though as my sunroof drain looks fine. May have to climb into the boot whilst someone else showers the car!

On the GS the sunroof drain pipes pass through the boot area before passing through rubber grommits and exiting the boot floor, one of mine had been pulled back through the grommit and therefore the water was going straight in to the boot so may be worth checking these 1st if the same principle is used on the IS.
