When Does The Is Stop Production?

Recommended Posts

If I recall correctly from a conversation I have had with a dealer on the phone earlier, he says it will be a hybrid with the same horsepower as the IS250, obviously better MPG and I think tax will be free or cheap. I've yet to see any pictures of it, I am guessing it will be a mini-GS. Starting price of 28k, at that price I imagine it will have the nav and such as standard to compete with the 3-series and audi a4.

I'm a little sceptical about hybrid cars.

Maybe aclex can add more info?

I'm sure I remember reading in a magazine a few weeks ago that the new IS would be a 2.5 V6 hybrid with a CO2 figure of 99g/km.

If that turns out to be true, I'd be amazed (and very interested). But I fear the price might be a deal breaker for me :-(

I think as mentioned it's likely to be the drivetrain from the ESh. 2.5l 4 pot. Lexus don't like doing too many engine variants- in fact none of them do now!!

Ah, could be. I might have imagined the V6 when I saw 2.5.
