Hello guys! Got my first Lexus IS just a few days ago and thought I might join this forum to learn more about it. been driving for the past 16 years and I can say this baby is the best I've had so far..can't wait for my next out of town.Talk to you guys soon!

Brill cars if you let them grow on you, and you are past the 'keep swopping' stage. Ive had a superb 200, and now a just brilliant 300sx.......8 years in total. Almost zero depreciation compensates for 'ok' mpg, I could afford a new car being an old git, but I just look...turn up my nose, and walk away muttering. If i need reminding why I press the power button, floor the pedal from standing, and just feel a dreamy continuous smooth power acceleration till I bottle out...pure class. On the 200 the key to that is to get the tacho up around 4000rpm, that's where you feel the difference!
