H guys this is my first post and will be my second IS, first was a 06 220d which I really like but I have put a deposit on a 59 plate 250 SEL which I hope to have by next weekend.

Looking at it compared to my 220d this one has the facelift styling with the wing mirror repeaters. Noticed that the radio (Levinson) has a DAB button, do the facelift cars have an audio update etc?

You can opt to have the DAB tuner added to the Levinson pack. It may have been input by th previous owner. Best to check. It's a cracking good car though...you will love it.

is there any way if I can tell what generation of software it will have or if it's the DVD or HDD version?

If its the facelift like I have I would expect you have the HDD. If you search thru the menu it will tell you the generation of software. The seller should be able to walk you through this.

Yes, if DAB not fitted it just gives analog radio.
