Difference In Ride Height Between A 220D And A 250?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

As as per the title really as my 220d sits a lot higher than the 250's I see driving around.

Also, I am assuming that if I bought some H&R 29122-1 Lowering Springs Kit for the 250 and 220d which offers a 35mm drop, my drop would infact be greater as I ride higher than the 250 as standard? If so, what would be the overall drop?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom

Sorry, don't know the answer.

Had both cars can honestly say I was unaware of a difference in ride height. Looking at my photos they look very similar to me.

Thanks for replying. Maybe the ones I have seen have been lowered?

Would coilovers or springs for a 250 fit a 220d?

Hi,

New member just joined today so apologies if I'm stating what everybody already knows!!

When I purchased my IS250 in January 2011 the sales guy stated that the 200D sat higher due to the Diesel fuel pump being in the way......

Hmm...I can't see anything that sits lower than it should under the car to affect ride height....unless it is the weight of the component that they are taking into account?

I'm intent on lowering the car so have any diesel owners done this? I assume there are...
