hi,

just want to get a verdict if people go for silver tipped bulbs so that the lens doesnt have the fried egg look or normal orange bulbs?

Are the silver tipped ones as good as they claim to be.

I need to hear from you guys who have experience of these bulbs.

I have used those silver/amber bulbs and had no problems with them, like look fine both off and lit.

The bulbs fittment is offset as per your first link.

Are the silver bulbs bright enough in daytime? Does anyone have a picture what it looks like in the daylight?

Yes mate their perfectly fine for daytime driving.

I have a set in my garage, if i get round to it ill post a vid of them in and working...

The bulbs have lost a little bit of their silver coating, but they look 100 times better in the flesh and in the light houseing.

Many thanks for the view and pictures jomo, really appreciate it... I think I will get me some of these now... don't happen to know the type of bulb or a link to eBay to get them do you? Also like the chrome exhaust tip, you have a standard lexus exhaust, cos I wouldnt mind getting one of those either. I have seen them on eBay but don't have confidence in the advertisements as they look a different shape, but state is200... so :S

Your welcome Andy, i bought those from Lidl of all places about 4 years ago lol, but there the same as the eBay ones.

Those should be the same as mine, they look more silver than mine do but the silver does fade with use over time.

Yes that's the standard Lexus zorst, but i believe that it was an optional extra, their really hard to get a hold of now, and the ones on eBay are not gen lexus parts but cheap copies, so watch out.

The LED ones looks ok, what bulb type are those?

I have leds all round now, bar from brake lights as i cant seem to find a set that look alot brighter when you have the lights on and then hit the brakes!

The ind i have in the back look like these,

But you cant just chuck leds in the indicators with out changing the indicator relay for an LED one!

I just put the silver tipped normal bulbs in mine. They look fantastic :)

No messing about with LED or relays, just a straight swap. Dead easy!
