im not a mechanic or lpg expert so ill take a guess - is it that the gas pipes are routed around the hot parts of the engine and pipes and parts not secured properly? - just look as if the system has just been thrown in!! lol

sorry if im wrong and will keep an eye on the post to see what the experts have to say.

Its difficult to say what is wrong from the pictures. What looks imeadiately wrong to you with everything in front of you is not so obvious looking at it with blurred pictures.

As someone has already said Romano systems are well known throughout the LPG world but like all these things they are only as good as the install.

Perhaps you could give us some indication as to what you feel is wrong. Mike

Seems to be working ok, I'm not aware of any specific problems.

Need to work out what type of mpg I'm getting, to see how it's running.

It runs rougher on gas than on petrol, but not prohibitively so.

It should not run any different on Gas but it may just be a mapping adjustment. Is there any smell of gas?

It looks like a multipoint system but I cant see the injector rails. If it is running rough on gas something is wrong. It should run the same if not smoother. I would get it seen to as you could be doing damage if its running lean.

All,

Recently bought a car with this install...

Spot any horrors? It's a 'Romano' system, whatever that means!

Can't see the photos properly as I'm on my phone, however first and foremost thing I can see is the ecu is fitted incorrectly, if the installer has installed this wrongly what other shortcuts has he done??

With any ecu fitted to any car it needs to be either installed with the cables down or hidden within a water proof box

I saw just before Christmas a car with a ecu fitted like that, cost the customer £250 for a new ecu only 3 weeks after having the car converted
