Auto Dipping Rear View Mirror

Hey guys in ordering an auto dipping rear view mirror for my is200 on Friday I've spent 30 mins trying to dig up some info on here for installing etc but can't seem to find anything... Anyone installed 1 from the is300? Is it worth the change?

I've found one pretty cheap I just can't seem to find any info on installing them lol I know you can get a reverse module so it dipps when in reverse but not sure it's necessary lol

Are you on about the passenger side mirror dip or auto dimming?

I fitted and is300 one in my car. great mod :) easily to wire up. I wired mine to a permanent live. would be better to the sunroof live which is only on with the ignition. I have had zero issues with the permanent live.

Yes it should be as ive done a couple in my time and that's all i've used. Apart from the bmw one i have now which has built in alarm LED.

Very trick Ian! I thought about getting the auto dipping reverse module is it really worth it?

That's the unit for dipping the door mirror, so it faces downwards for reversing. Just a gimmick if you ask me.
