Is300 Sat Nav Error

sat nav comes with error message - unable to read.

I can access the calendar and maintenance settings but the sat nav not operating.

any ideas ?

Sounds like the disc needs cleaning

hi try cleaning the module in the boot with a cd cleaner,this might help

I have cleaned the cd and the module lens with a cd lens cleaner cd.

made no difference.

I think there is a wrong sat nav cd or may be needs updating or something.

I brought the car a week ago & the only thing wrong with it, is the sat nav which I was told.

If it comes up with error unable to read you probably have the wrong disc then,happened to me when I bought a wrong disc for mine

ok, so how would I know if I got the correct or wrong cd .

I will post up a pic of the cd I currently have.

the cd is not scratched or anything though.

could be the wrong one or as colin mentioned, sat nav unit packed up.

put a picture up and take it from there,once bought a wrong one disc for mine and had similar issue,also visit Lexus mapupdates and you should be able to get the disc number(s)/part number you need/require.
