Air Con Compressor

Hi all, I recently had my is 220's A/C re-gassed but still no cold air, so I took it into lexus and my worst fear came true. The compressor has gone and lexus want £1200 to replace, so my first question is can it be reconditioned or does it need replacing and my second question is does anyone know where I can get it reconditioned or even a second hand one or a cheaper replacement?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Try the scrap yards.

Many advertise bits on E bay...never know, they may one on the shelf.

I've just picked up a used compressor for my LS from a guy who breaks cars here in south Cheshire. Looks good and I'm taking it over to my mechanic today to fit. £75.
