Are My Tail Lights Too Bright?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I own a 2006 IS220d and want to know if it is normal for the central tail lights(on the boot lid) to be brighter than the tail lights on the outside? The central tail lights shine as bright as the brake lights!

I only picked up on this the other day when someone on the motorway made a point of flashing their rear fog lights on and off several times in front of me thinking I had mine on (I didnt!).

If this isnt normal do you know what can be done to fix it?

Best regards,

I had a quick look yesterday and the only bulbs that were accessible without taking everything to pieces were the rear fogs and reverse lights!

I take it these central tail lights shouldn't be shining so bright?
