Guys

Saw a couple of drops of something on the cup holder panel....went to wipe them away and the whole thing just smudged and came off!

Offending liquid could only have been either Ginger beer :), antibacterial handwash, or some aftershave - really dont remember though - guessing it must have been on for a while and settled in?

Any thoughts on how to fix please?

Obvious would be to replace? How about some of that carbon wrap - I wouldnt know where to start however!

Thanks!

Has to be a solvent to attack the surface like that. Carbon wrap might be your answer.

Read the posts by Ahmed at the top of this forum. There are 2 to look at, subjects are steering wheel wrap and car wrap.steering wheel wrap will give you a lot of information and tips.

I had an issue similar to yours immortaltech, done by the previous owners.

Lexus wanted £300 for replacement housing.

I spent £10 on carbon fibre vinyl and did most of my car interior with it.
