Tuning IS200

hi to everyone.........im from malaysia and recently just bought the IS200.... i join this club is b'coz i wanna know more about the car and how or wat can i do to upgraded the car bhp... wat do you guys think about the blitz compressor???? i have done some research and in japan there are alot of ppl are using turbo kit for the car??? which one do you guys suggest...??? compressor/turbo kit/or nitrous system???

I've got the TTE compressor and its wonderful...........I'm having Nitrous fitted as well & that should be the icing on the cake !

I thought the Blitz compressor kit was for Altezza not for the IS200

My choice would be Turbo + Nitrous injection (Venom is what I would go for, they make computer programmable nitrous kits B) )

do you not need serious internal mods for the turbo route ?

if you expect more than 50bhp of course you will need to change some internal parts It is the same for the supercharchers conversions, if you stay reasonnable, there should be no prob. 50bhp gain is the same as the TTE SC kit but sensation won't be the same as the SC works from 0 to 7500 rpm while turbo is activated only on a range. Turbo is more 'kick a**" while SC is smoother to drive.

the blitz supercharger is for the Altezza and not the is200

a supercharger delivers power linear, a turbo does not

if your car is an altezza id say go for the turbo, its cheaper, and offers more bang for your buck, if however you want smooth power delivery and longer engine life (remeber the altezza is a 4 pot banger) id go for the supercharger
