Just run in at 183K. and LS 400 burns so little oil I have never worked out why other engines get through gallons of the stuff.

Had a Passat company car 4 years ago, would burn about a litre per 1500 miles.

Be interesting to get your thoughts on 200 versus 400 as I am trying to convince missus to get a 200 at some point

can't go wrong at that money i sounds a genuine car and seller,long mot etc,you will be pleased i would think,i bought an old k reg first for that sort of cash and it was great,needed a few things doing but it got me hooked they are lovely old cars

Thanks chaps.owner has done yearly oil and filters etc (approx 5000 miles per year) cambelt at 165000,faults are heated seats packed up recently,front ciggy lighter inop and cd multi changer has thrown a wobbly,so nothing major :)

Think it will be one end of the Lexus scale to the other as the IS200 sportcross is quite a planted car and likes too be revved to make good progress.where as the 400 is more of a magic carpet ride i would imagine :driving:
