Front Brake Pads For My Ls430 (04 Plate)

Recommended Posts

I would just buy the parts from Lexus (educated guess cost £60 - £70) and either get a local garage to change them

Or fit them yourself - its quite straight forward - 10-15 mins each side.

Or if you want to go for an aftermarket brand go for Feroddo Premier - they are as good as the original ones and dont groan or squeek when you come to a stop.

hope this helps

Can anyone advise on the best brake pads for my lexus. My dealer has quoted £273 to change them!

Has anyone used a brand called Pagid?

Thanks

I have used the Pagid brand before, they are ok but not as good as standard ferodo.

Spend a litte extra and get the best you can afford, brakes and tyres need the best you can get for obvious reasons.

EBC are also good, use them all the time on motorbikes unless i use brembo, not sure if you can get brembo for ls 430.

Thanks everyone. Just to close off , I managed to get a local garage to get ferodo premium pads and fix them on front and rear wheels all for £160 including VAT. Lexus dealer wanted to charge in excess of £300.

Thanks Mark. I really appreciated you pointing me in the direction feredo premium .

I notice your LS430 looks superb. Mine's got a few scuff marks on bumpers on all four corners. Have been thinking of them repaired and bringing the car to show room standard...especially since I have decided to keep it until gives up on me! That's presuming I don't fall of my perch first. I live in Buckinghamshire...are you or anyone out there who can recommend a good bodyshop outfit.
