Hi everyone,

Just after a bit of advice on my Lexus IS200 Sport. I do about 18,000 miles a year in my car and my girlfriend lives about 40 miles away so traveling costs are really starting to bite to the tune of £40-£50 a week.

The trouble is I don't want to change my Lexus for a bmw diesel or any other car as I love my Lexus IS200 so I have been looking at LPG as an alternative.

Has anyone done this to their IS200 or any other Lexus model and would you advise for or against this course of action, does it effect the warranty?, the life of the engine?

No need for Deer jokes this week however almost hit a badger on the same peice of road.

There are a lot of COWBOY companies out there that do the conversion.

I think garages which offer it have a list of what car etc. So be carefull, I saw this on T.V

Price of fuel is cheaper but fuel economy is the same.

Do check whether it is suitable for the LEXUS though as wildrnes has mentioned, and look into warranty issues.
