Yeh but you have to fumble to switch it on don't you think stu .the steering wheel button on the later ones is a better idea

Use it so often i know exactly where it is! Agree that its in a more convenient place on the latest model.

Did a journey today to test mpg since having intake and exhaust fitted. Only just over 1mpg less! Very pleased with that. Was expecting less. Over 150 miles not going over 80mph and very few squirts.

Pleased with the result. Was 30.7 and achieved 29.6 with intake and exhaust fitted.

Hopefully useful to folks considering the mods.

I've said it a few times before , my 250 only done 30 mpg at best , mostly 28 s

thats not bad figures! i guess i drive like an old pensioner on the motorway!

Right. This surprised me. Did the reverse journey to one mentioned above where I achieved 29.6mpg today BUT has the car is sports mode all the way and had a bit of fun and averaged 28.6MPG!!! A lot more than I was expecting. May just use sports mode all the time!

Your not going to believe this but after putting the takeda on I got 34.5 as a tank average in the drive to H&S. It may drop after the exhaust is done

That's great. Did you reset the ecu? What system are you having put on at h&s?

Hi Stu, no haven't reset ECU waiting for exhaust and will do it then, as for exhaust I have asked for an exact copy of yours (hope you don't mind they do say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery)

Does the new exhaust system just make the ISF louder? No performance gains? And on a side note does the k@n air filter add any bhp?

Apparently no intakes or filters add any hp in isolation.

The exhaust will free gas movement a bit as it is now a dual system with smaller back boxes and no silencer after the second cats. Bhp gain??? No idea. The rolling road day in August should allow is to see any differences as we will hopefully have isf that are stock, intake alone and intake and cat back system.
