Mk1 Gs300 Sport Alarm Fob Fault

Recommended Posts

Hi all,I'm down to my last one of two working alarm fob's and that has now developed a fault. The cr 2025 Battery goes flat in about 2 weeks with very little use of the fob.Anyone else had this kind of problem or have any idea as to what could be the cause ?

Never had any issues with any of my fobs for excessive Battery usage. Are the batteries good branded ones? I've had issues with cheap batteries before (wierd brand names and certain branded ones like Panasonic and Kodak.

Thank's for the reply Rick, the last batch of batteries are Duracell with a use by date of August 2018.They are still only holding a charge for around two week's,there must be some sort of short circuit in the arm or diss-arm button connections all though the red neon remains off until either button is pressed.
