Moisture In Headlights - Warranty Claim Accepted

Recommended Posts

Noticed both headlights were getting moisture in them when I looked at the car on the mornings. Not all the time but often enough. Took some pics and chucked in a speculative warranty claim.

Claim was accepted today. Two new headlight clusters on order to be fitted next week. Boom!

Warranty has paid for itself this year already!

Congrats Stu. :)

Keep this up, and you'll have a new car! Lol. :)

Mine exhibit a small amount of condensation sometimes. Not enough to worry me, but if you can do it under the warranty, why not! ;)

Just need some new bulbs to finish things off! Lol. :)

Does the Lexus warranty have a maximum claim amount? Not that I need it yet.

Not that i am aware of. There is a cheaper warranty Lexus offer that does but the one i have does not.

Lets face it, any job oin this car is going to cost ££££ to correct.

Thanks for the reply Stu..will make sure there isn't a maximum claim allowance when I come to take one out.

Good stuff!

Make sure you seal the new headlights.

I think the OEM sealant is not very robust. Most of the Lexus I see have hazy headlights.
