Vsc,abs Brake Light

Just a quick question got the above lights coming on randomly.as soon as the ignition is switched of they go off no obvious problems yet but does anybody no what they could be for before I take it to the garage.

Don't know if this helps but I have just had cambelt change and major service and shortly afterwards whilst driving car (RX300) had the same lights come on as yourself upon switching ignition off and back on the fault cleared, thinking it might be down to something the dealer done on the service (Front brake pads changed) I took car back to them for check, they hooked it up to laptop and it indicated that the fault lay with the brake light switch, the dealer has suggested that I continue to use car as all now seems ok but should it happen again they will investigate further, he also explained that the same lights will display for a number of other faults and so the only way to be sure is to have the fault checked on the lap top

Thanks ollie101258 the lights do go out after ignition is switched off but I still haven't got no obvious signs.if you could please keep me updated on your out come regards Pedro

Pedro just a thought but when these lights come on are your brake lights working?

Not sure will do a check the next time they come on but you could be right it could be a good call that ollie101258
