Brand New Lexus Ls400 Engine.

Apparently this engine was a static display piece for Toyota in Norway and although fully functional was never fitted into an LS400.

Not very often you see one in this condition so I thought I would post it up.

Can be bought from Japan brand new still for just over £8000 !!!

So is this what we used to call a 'SHORT BLOCK' in that items like the alternator, starter, water pump etc needed to be harvested from the old engine & refitted to the new one ?

The price Lexus charge a 'short block" is probably half the engine so just a V4 :)
