Keyless Entry Security

Recommended Posts

With the recent bad press about high end Range Rovers, Audi's and BMW's being stolen easily due the weakness of the Keyless system I have not seen any mention of Lexus being targeted. Is this because the Lexus system is better or because we all drive more discrete cars in much lower numbers that they are not attractive to the thief's?

The systems used are pretty much the same. If they can crack through RR's and Audi's, you can be sure theyll crack through ferrari's and rolls royce's too and pretty much any car out there.

Lexus vehicles are just more exclusive so there's not exactly very many to steal. The majority of cars are German brands which get shipped off to another country. No point worrying about it, get a good insurance policy and call it a day
