Unknown Switch

Hi, I have owned my ls430 for just under 2 weeks and am getting to know what all the buttons, knobs and switches do but I'm at a loss as to what one switch is. It is situated below the handbrake release lever and just has zero and one on it. Can anybody enlighten me as to what it does or is it an added extra? I would have added a picture but am having trouble uploading from my gallery.

On my GS there is a switch next to the handbrake release and turns the automatic handbrake on or off.

thats and aftermarket switch - never seen that nor has mine got it - have a look around the engine bay and see if you can spot some extra wiring going to the Battery to see if the previous owner had some extra gadget fitted such as a solar Battery booster

Thanks Mark I will have a look and see if there is anything added under the bonnet as you suggest.

I checked, and I haven't got one either.
