My mistake, I read your post as meaning the dealer had been honest on autotrader, but not on their own site.

Which brings me to another point.

Are traders legally bound to declare cat C, and/or, cat D when advertising?

I thought they were obliged to do so, but on googling the subject, found conflicting opinions.

Anybody know for sure?

Incidentally, any dealer not declaring a recorded car, would be off my shopping list straight away.

i am dealer. All dealers MUST declare CAT C & D. Private sellers don't have too.

Makes me laugh, at the bottom of the add it states :-

classic! lol.....they've actually gone out of their way to look stupid - they could have just left at £1 per mile delivery as maths wasn't their best subject at school.
