  5. Had the catback exhaust replaced completely as it turned out the people who did it didnt do a particularly good job. Still looks more or less the same just not as loud. Might get it made a bit louder again eventually. Apart from maintaining (cambelt and water pump will be soon) i havent really done anything to it. I do however have a genuine C-West front bumper that will be going on but depends when i have the money spare to get it done. P.s to the OP, sorry about the thread hijack ;-)

  6. HI FOLKS JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM irl car parts galway. He has the rear bushings for the gs 300 back in stock as from 5/3/2013. I just mot,d bessy yesterday after getting a local engineering firm to make me two, sods law ha ha. I still think i will buy two from him in case the new ones dont hold up or i can always sell them to someone who needs them in the future. I put them in without removing anything but the wheels, a bit of a tight job but not that bad, just used plenty of easing oil and a socket and lump hammer, One of the camber bolts was grown to the inner metal sleeve of the bushing with rust, bit of a pig, heat would have helped but just kept spraying easing oil and thumping with the persuader ha ha .Hope this helps someone out folks great comfortable big car the Lexus. I had a volvo 960 for the previous 10 years and thought i would,nt like anything else but these are a great motor. Good Luck, Kieran

  7. A quote i heard some years ago.. 'Always buy German cars on finance where you can take advantage of warranty and always buy Japanese cars second hand' because once your warranty runs out you wouldnt enjoy driving a German car.
