  1. I bought my IS300h Luxury new in March 2014 and it's a great car despite the lack of electric toys. I'm trading her in for a Lexus Centre used '64' plate GS F Sport - the 300h version :( It's a great car with all the toys including photo chromatic door mirror glass, auto high beam, BSM, etc. Despite it being an F Sport I think it's a small change over the standard car. I personally think the IS F Sport is more of a stand out car over the standard and, dare I say it, better looking than the GS in some angles? It's black inside and out. Wheels have been powder coated black too and the external chrome wrapped in black. Definitely stands out and I'm sure it'll be a marmite car. Can't wait to get it but I'll miss the IS's handling.

  3. Just got back from a trip to the petrol pumps, OH!!! dear we got diverted for 12 miles down the A46 dual carraige way, my son said what's it like in manual so didn't want to disapoint him. Funny how these diversions signs just pop up :winky: Wow!! she goes well when in 8th gear pulling +5K revs then dropped her down to 4th and slowly accelerated, slow ya right. Son was impressed so was I. Any way arrived at Asda's pumps and put in more than initially intended to, but it was well worth it, the ISF certainly turns heads when you pull up :driving:

  4. Congratulations on a first-rate job! Out of interest, did you get a chance to inspect the rotor arms/distributor caps? (I'd like to see how they hold up over time.) Rich

  5. Your a bloody genius, I had every faith you would do it. I notice you only live up the road from me might call upon you when mine needs changing. Well done. Mike.

  6. Well done, my son. Bet you're chuffed. By the way, that's nice low mileage you have there too. Filling the coolant via the hex plug does take a while I know, but filling an empty block via the resovoir takes MUCH longer and you end up having to 'burp' the car too. Anyway, I'm glad the job went well and you're back enjoying your LS.

  10. Still 16 as of today and the usual over priced ones are still on there, many for quite a few months now. Why they just don't lower the price beats me (we are now officially in a negative economy). The right priced ones go very quick so shows there is a market.

  11. Thank you for trying to help, i did work out what you said before you replied with clarification, however, that didn't work. What DOES work is this: Connect your phone to your car via bluetooth On your phone, select "Contacts" At the top right hand side, there are 3 dots vertically aligned, select that. From the drop down menu that appears, select "Select" Now on the left hand side of the screen, select the empty check-box next to "Select all" At the top right hand side of the screen will now be 3 dots joined up together which make a shape like this <. Select that Now select the "Bluetooth" icon (if you have downloaded bluetooth sharing apps these will also show, but the one i used was the phone's built in bluetooth functionality, the icon is a blue circle with a white bluetooth logo and is labelled "Bluetooth") A list of available bluetooth devices is listed. Before selecting your car from the list, you will need to enter the menu on your car to "Transfer Contacts". I presume everyone knows where that is though. Once you have selected your car, the transfer will start. My transfer took about a minute. I don't like Belgian beer, I will have a vodka and coke please :-)
