    I had this problem on mine, so i replaced the front discs/pads and it went away for about 2 weeks and now its back! *** damn it it really annoying! Does anyone know why it would come back after just 2 weeks?

    You can tell if you have the LSD or not. Go underneath your car and take a look at it, if it has fins on it then its an LSD, there are some pics somewhere, mines 1999 and has an LSD, i think its just luck more than anything if you have one on a pre 2000 IS200

    What has he done, chipped it and exhaust? I didnt think much was possible with the golfs low compression turbo? R32's are too expesive for what they are. The only thing hes done is had the ECU remapped by Revo-Tec. I never belived it when he told me...150-207 bhp from just a remap for £439 but its true! Revo is only for german/european cars like Audi's VW's, Seat's..

    Now all you need tommy is the prolex induction kit, and then remove the bonnet lining! Your car will sound absoulutely amazing!Like an F1 car, especially in built up areas where the sound bounches of the walls and glass!!yeahhhhh!!

    Ive always wanted an Evo7 or 8, i was gonna get one before the lex but the insurance was 5-6 k! if not that then definately something yankee like a mustang or a ram. if i had 30k id like to get the Audi RS6 V8, 450bhp standard, with revo its 520bhp! That Revo is the dogs, my mate has a 1.8 turbo golf mk4, 150bhp standard, for £439 its now running at 207bhp! id need too spend £3000 on my car for that kind of power!

    yeah i was thinking ball joints...heard it banded around the forums a bit...i think id need couple of ball joints break pads n discs n 1 new front tyre!! im hating the clanking noise thing...not very good when your pimping thru town and go to stop and all this clunking n squeeking comes on!!!
