  1. i think he can do a job, and the british media will ove him he doesnt give a flying ~@**~ about what people think. in addition hes a quality manager and i think he could do the job. although it would be good to have an 'english' manager, with the exeption of the irish Martin Oneil, i persoally dont think there is any english manager out there who is good enough at the moment. having said that Guus Hiddink would have been my 1st choice, hes succeeded wherever hes been.
  2. sorry about that, just as i posted the internet went doolallay! basically my query is, ive already painted my callipers a while back, but i never painted the partbon the wheel that has turned rusty ( it think this is a common problem). my question is, would hammerite smooth in black suffice for this, i wondered if it would look silly as it leaves quite a glossy finnish?
  3. actually i havnt but i assume they would be bottom my first car was a 2000 Punto sporting before i got my lex last year and there service was almost if not as bad as the car. my dad bought a new alfa 156 at the same time brand new, and within one week the rear bumper had started to fall off. Alfa tried to fix it with what looked like double sided sticky tape and claimed they has replaced the whole bumper. madness!
  4. fiat or alfa :haha: worst dealers EVER
  5. SELFISH :tsktsk: you have two and i dont even have one congratulations on your purchase, if you ever get bored of one and wish to give thespare one away, i know a good home for it :D
  6. i personally prefer A, ive never come accross these before, are they an alternative to the front lips? i really like the look of them, where can you buy them from?
  7. yeh its happened to me a couple of times, brown pants and brown seats
  8. thats what i tried,l im going to have another bash at the weekend when i have more time. i took off the the naff plastic screws (2 at either side of the grill, whcih connect to the bumper) and the one metal screw in the centre. there seemed to be plent of movement there, but i didnt want to force it onto place and snap anything.
  9. how long does warrenty on paint last for, ive noticed a couple of stone chips on my bonnett are starting to rust. I assume i wont be covered as im from the dark ages with a 1999 IS, but thought id ask anyway
  10. will do, when i get my interweb up and running at home! my wireless thingy ba jig (im not very technical ) has broken, should hopefully get a new one before end of this week.
  11. update! well i fitted my sports grille last night (kind of)! i took the old grille out easily, toot 2 mins but struggled to get the new one in. I couldnt get the clips on the bumper to clip onto my sports grille (i tried for ages) but it seemed to be sturdy enough once screwed back in place.
  12. excelentay, just noticed my student loan has come in today, my heart is saying get the front lip, my mind is saying not!
  13. ahh thats the one, thanks alot. i assume taking it apart is the same for the IS as it is the altezza?
  14. Hi all, ive just been informed my sports Grille has come today so ive read up and it doesnt take long to fit so i was going to have a bash at fitting it. ill cut to the chase.... i was reading a thread last week which gave a link to an altezza site (austrailian i think) where a pdf file could be downloaded, which showed you how to replace the grille step-by step. i cant seem to find it now :duh: so id be grateful if someone could give me the link to it if at all possible.
