Yep every lexus lolPs I don't use a detergent thru my power washer... And alloys always hand washed as I have noticed lacquer peeling off -
Power washed first then used poor boys light swirl remover applied by machine, power washed again then polished waxed and sealed took 2 days but car looks brand new again, only down side is neighbour wants me to do his now lol

Before i bought My LS400 mk4 it was a cat C due to vandalised damage vertically every panel had been keyed... Car was fully re sprayed and alloys refurbished.. 2 months before I viewed and bought it... In fact it looked and ran like brand new.. Had no qualms about it being a cat C and have now had it for 6 yrs.... You MUST tell any potential purchaser that car is a CAT c or d or whatever ... -
£78.86 +vat and postage for ur mirror casing and in the color you want... You might need to wait a couple of days as mine was sourced from Belgium I believe .... I'll pm you andys works number .... He should be able to give you a discount as well hopefully ...I did ps ur mirror casing comes in two parts .... ***** easy to do :)

You do get just the covers...Pm ACLEX on this site....He works in parts department and got me a replacement for my 08 GS450h just a few weeks back... I believe for the 07 300 the price new is 56.31 plus vat n postage.... Andy quoted me this first then found out he'd quoted me for a 07 mine was dearer at 70 odd .. As the 08 has the indicator on.

I'm extra greedy as well... Gs450h 08 LS400 98 .....Frontera for snow and voyager for transporting troops (kids)... I'm the only driver of first 2 lol... Was told to sell the LS when I picked up the GS ...till I took her for a run in it and said " do you really want me to sell" answer was no keep it lol woohoo -
I did exactly the same and changed yellowish looking bulbs for the canbus error free 9 SMD bright white...wow what a difference it make s to the look of the car at night.. Agree totally about them being fidderly n a pain in the arse to change

Boot space.... Is the only con I've come across..but hasn't really been to much of a issue as I have a LS400 and voyager for big things if I'm picking anything up....

I've DVD / games system fitted into mine with Bluetooth wireless headphones n controllers USB etc etc.plays separate DVDs so youngest watches cartoons n oldest his ones... Wer in car wen I bought it but costed £1500 ( glad they where already fitted lol).... Keeps my kids quiet n content... Can't remember make at mo but can get info for you later from handbooks ....

Only MOD I've ever done on my LS was wheels and limo tint on rear windows.... IS was HID headlights wheels n sports grill ..... GS450h new air fresher lol...... And personal plates on all cars

+1 on the car parking..... If I don't find a large car space ...I don't shop.. I'm not about to squeeze my car into the stupid little car parking spaces for some idiot in a 4x4 or old rust bucket to park next to me n open thier doors onto my car....on a plus side if no parking spaces I just drop mrs off n she phones me once all the shoppings done n I just saunter in and pick her n shopping up so bonus for me if no child or big parking spaces lol

Wooooo I was lucky then... I thought car would be disabled if key not present n car drove off...Hayho you learn something new ... Was distracted with kids whinging and a idiot parked next to me at a stupid angle and had words with HER to straighten up n move back a bit plus mrs shouting at me to hurry up (sales wer on) I did have a funny feeling something was wrong but just shook it off and carried on up town shopping... The look on my face as I returned to the car and noticed it still running was a picture and a few choice words came out my mouth (called myself a few names) lol Won't be doing that again lol

Reason I ask this is I parked in multi storey car park went n got ticket and kids out of car got a bit distracted and went up town......got back to car hour n half later to find I hadn't switched it off so car was running and open just waiting to be pinched luckily it wasn't ...but just wondering how long car would drive for without the key being present

Pete... The bit if mine that broke was the bit welded onto bottom arm.....and never bothered to get it replaced... I just got headlights at right height by moving the sensor arm then securing....no probs with dazzling or with MOT

I had this happen to me on my LS ....found out the level sensor on rear of car had corroded n snapped.. So I just manually adjusted it to stop dazzling oncoming vehicles.... It's on drivers side near suspension

I repaired my blinky dash myself years ago on a 93 LS at the total cost of 54pence for 2 caps and a couple of hrs of my time....
