Personally if I was you I'd at least try and get a test drive or at least a good look around a 460/600 , I can't see any down sight of upgrading from a 430 to 460/600.... I went from 400 to GS450h to Ls600hl .... Have I any regrets ...... No nope non nada lol , best of luck in search for your next LS and keep us informed

You will notice a difference in the GS to a LS... I was always going to get myself a ls460 a couple of years ago A UPGRADE FROM MY LS400 and at last minute changed my mind and went for a minted GS450h ..... Nothing wrong with it comfort was 95% like a LS , speed n acceleration and drive was about the same but what kept going thru my head was this isn't as LS ... So 2yrs later had to return to LS fold ....was happy with the GS but am much much happier in the LS .... Ok so I went straight for the 600 this time but it's a LS and happier than a herd of pigs in (their own muck) lol

Just make sure that rain sensor gel pad is put back onto new windscreen and in correct position or rain sensor wipers won't work..... Happened to me with my GS450h I had prior to getting my 600... Mention this prior to them replacing it

Had a good day yesterday and got ivic5i delivered and fitted (DIY) pretty straight forward and got my confirmation of dvla to change plates :) and got my front window wind deflectors, will post up my thoughts of ivic once I've used it properly (unfortunatly away to work up n down country for a week or poss two) :( pooh can't have a play with it lol... Any ways it is a simple install

No pics on the install. Just this I photo of everything hanging lose lol... I had better things to do with my time lol scratching my head and wondering what goes wer and how to dismantle dash ..... End result it fitted and was quite easy to do.... But I did phone the company in America for a walk thru on how to use it lol doe ball I am.... Couldn't find my contacts or the weather app etc and thought it hadn't loaded up right ...it had I just didn't peruse the menu enough <<<<------ this mans a idiot ;) lol...... Anyway it's up n running and I'm liking it :) unfortunatly I'm away early to work and not back for a week so can't post a vid up of it working or the secret button that puts you over to your contacts weather google maps etc etc I'm saying secret coz it doesn't make me feel so bad about phoning the states up at 23:00 uk time lol to ask for help

The ivic5i is only for 5gen navigation systems ie 2006-2010 but there are other systems for your 430.... In middle of putting everything back in place before I fire it up :)

Ohhhhhhh look what nice delivery man just handed over to me...... But not after I had to pay a extra £30:32 for import costs :( ..... Now just need the balls to take dash apart to get it fitted into back of stereo and Emv screen :) ..... I know how to do it just freaking out that I mark/scuff the leather dash :( lol ... Away up town to get the 2 extra adapter cables I need.... It'll be a apple 5s I'm connecting to it :)

Ordered one last week and as I'm sat typing this it's 20mls away from arriving at my door today :) not long had UPS uk phone me to say parcels on route and will be delivered today.... :) woohoo all in all including postage etc came to £270 ... I cracked my mirror casing reversing into my garage (doh) in the 08 gs450 I had ....got complete mirror casing for around £80 sent from lexus Poole .....only needed inner part but only sells as a complete unit ... Still got outer bit brand new but it's black

Sorry I'm rolling around the floor here laughing...... On your understanding the hybrid is a waste of time and reducing mpg by having it...... Best you inform the lexus techs ;) so they can recall all hybrids and take them out as there doing nothing but labouring and costing us fuel .... :) ;)

Laboured by generating energy...... Your having a laugh aren't you..... I've had 2 hybrids and the last thing I'd say is it's laboured as for more mpg what do you think the hybrid bit in car is for= more mpg ....... :/

As above removal is correct.... I had to replace 1 after having porridge and snapping 1 on mine off a few years back

My boss's LS460 and my LS600hl .... :) it was my boss who opened my eyes to the lexus brand 12yrs ago when he gave me a lift in his LS430 to pick up my lorry.. As I got out of car that day I said one day I'll have a lexus, and I did 3mths later and have done ever since

The's a excellent one at lexus Sheffield GS450h SE-L 2008 new front discs and tyres alloys recently refurbished, extras that have been put on are rear entertainment headrest (top of the range cost £1500 when new) and front wind deflectors also on a nice number plate KY08 LEX black with black leather full dealer service history with no faults...... How do I know this you ask...... It was mine lol traded it in 2wks ago on a LS600hl..... :) it's on autotrader and lexus sheffields site

Unit cost $349 and shipping is $60 at current exchange rate it works out to be £243.97 delivered to my door by UPS :) Not compatible with earlier models tho..... Not sure as to what ones

It's a plug n play box which let's you use some of your apple or android software thru Emv screen, ie maps music ...it plugs straight into back of Emv Go onto YouTube and type in vaistech..... Nice bit of kit and if you get a wireless Bluetooth mouse you can control everything via that as well Hardest thing will be to have the balls to attempt to take dash apart to get to back of Emv .... The is a tutorial on what n how to do it... But with the LS 600 it's a bit daunting lol basically pooping myself incase I scratch the leather lol

I just got a brand new key fob sent to me from lexus Sheffield as 2nd key was cracked when I bought my car.... Took it to local Toyota dealer as nearest lexus dealer is Edinburgh or Glasgow a good 4hr drive away from me...(same software Toyota/lexus) 1st attempt to marry up to car success and lexus Sheffield picking up bill for it .... :) so sorry can't help ya out lol

I've been in contact already with vaistech and have one ordered :) was hoping for a uk retailer but none ..shipping cost over to uk is $60

This has happened to me on my ls400 and it was only a very slightly lose terminal connection..... I ended up having to bend a washer and fit it between terminal and connection.... So it got a proper connection....... Try that hopefully it is that which is a small DIY job rather than a big lexus job :(
