  1. So sorry to hear about this - some people are just scum. The guys are right though - absolutely get the Police involved, and don't do anything to your car yet - you'll be mitigating your claim. Pearl's head office is in Peterborough - have you tried calling them up there - ask to speak to their MD!! - failing that, Pearl is part of the AMP Group of companies - head office is in Finsbury Avenue, London - try there. Behaviour like this is outrageous and providing you're sure that you are in the right (and that the incident took place on a public highway) I'd insist that the Police do something about it. Good luck - keep us informed about how you get on please.
  2. It's gonna be a while (and a miracle) before I catch up with you , Mat and Richie I think!:bounce:
  3. I have PIAA Xtreme white bulbs on my car - and I think they're worth every penny - astonishing light output - 4000K colour temperature - which is about as bright as you're ever going to get with a halogen bulb. I have also used PIAA SuperWhites - pretty good too. Blue bulbs are, by definition, always going to be less bright than white bulbs!!
  4. yeah - gottem on mine too - much less dust. Did you change the discs too??:bounce:
  5. :lol:Now you're talking!!:bounce: [Edited on 11-6-2002 by Rodders_UK]
  6. Cheers mate! [Edited on 11-6-2002 by Rodders_UK]
  7. I've got a plate on mine, which is made of my initials. When I was looking, I found G300 XXX (xxx being my initials). Bought and paid for it, but when it came to the final transfer, the eeejit who had it previously had scrapped the care with it on, so I couldn't get it!!:(
  8. Jimbo I think everyone's entitled to their opinion mate - and you're entitled to disagree. Why don't you post a reply? (keep it inoffensive please). BTW - it wasn't me!!
  9. Grimmo - in what way is "Be part of it" more grabbing than "Be part of something great!". Have you been on the sauce again?!:tumble::tumble:
  10. I really think you should call up the Centre Manager and ask for a courtesy car again - it's got nothing to do with warranty or anything else. Most dealers offer a courtesy car as part of the service, which as you say, you are paying for. Failing that - call up Milton Keynes!! - they'll probably collect, and leave a courtesy car with you if you ask them nicely!! I'm sure that if HR Own has just invested in a new centre, they'll want to keep all the customer that they can!! Come on HR Owen Hatfield - you've got an unhappy customer here!!!:(
  11. Hi Jenners - welcome to the club. As far as courtesy cars - IMO that's got nothing at all to do with the origin of the car - it's to do with quality of service. You might care to visit our dealer reviews section and write a short review about the dealer that won't give you a courtesy car (please keep it factual and non-emotional though!!) I'd start by calling another dealer - tell them that they can have the privilege of your custom as long as they give you a courtesy car. Which dealer was it???
  12. Looks good Mat. How much difference do you think braided brake lines make? - mine are a little spongy (it's not air) - do you think metal lines would make a noticeable difference?
  13. Thanks guys!! - glad you like them.:bounce::bounce: [Edited on 11-6-2002 by Rodders_UK]
  14. Of course it works - it's a Lexus.!! What you shoulda said is "I take it we'll be following you as long as we can keep up!!"
  15. Many people have asked for something that they can leave on cars, or give to others in order to promote our Club. I've produced the attached Word2000 document, which contains a sheet of business cards (I've zipped the file to keep it small). If you want to print them, the document is set up for DECADRY WHITE BUSINESS CARDS WITH SMOOTH EDGES. Buy them in PC World - Decadry stock code OCC-3343. They're about 8 quids for 150 cards, and they peel off - no pesky perforations. Enjoy!! [Edited on 11-6-2002 by Rodders_UK] [Edited on 11-6-2002 by Rodders_UK]
  16. Your player obviously had good taste then!
  17. Much better choice Mat - TT is pretty and fast etc etc - but IMO a bit small - Lexus is a proper car!!
  18. Playa - the avatar is the small picture that some of have over there <---------------
