I'd say go for it I loved mine I had it for 2 1/2 years, if it's a 2006 or later then it has the upgraded suspension and is a much better ride than pre-06. As has been said before take on for a test drive and I ythink you'll be sold on it.

I initially got offered a rubbish trade-in for the SC but the dealer made it up to what I thought wa a decent price and then gave me a discount on the Beemer as well, he said of the 6 traders he tried 3 wouldn't touch it (one because the last one he had sat on the forecourt for nearly a year), the backside has dropped out of used prestige cars. -
The minute they do a cabrio version, I'll be back in the Lex fold.

After 8 years of happy Lexus motoring, I've moved over to the dark side and bought a new BMW 335i MSport convertible, the last accident I had was the final straw, people seem to have been using the SC for target practice and it was losing money like it was going out of fashion, (not that I ever saw it as an investment), been having a look round for a new convertible and the Beemer was the only one which came close for the money, got a great deal on a cancelled order which was the exact spec I was looking for so I pick it up in 2 weeks. I'll hang around here (if you don't mind) for the craic. All the best John

That looks sweet. Lexus Aberdeen had a black one in last month(looks like this is it if you're in Aberdeen), but it was a customer car and was going out as soon as it was prepped, so some lucky so and so owns it, I had a look round it but couldn't have a go because someone had bought it. Waiting for a call when "the demonstrator" is available but not sure when that is.

Welcome to LOC, the car looks nice mate. Never made it to Christchurch but did spend a couple of days in Lyttleton on a container ship a few years ago, great part of the world and will return some day.
