Going back a way.............ok to around 1988 (ish), was in a car with a friend going past a local airfield at 100+ (3am)....... we got stopped and the copper says."Whats up wing-co couln't you take off", this completely confused us! (A copper with a sense of humour.........unheard of) Anyway, we got let off with a little bit of a "dont let me catch you doing that again" and sent on our way. In all i think i got stopped around 3 times in the 80s-early 90s and got let off. It was a good time then....no cameras etc.

bloody dodgy connection on the bulb....touched it and it came back........ a pair of rubber gloves would be handy to grip the cluster on removal though :)

OK chaps.....rear light is out so need to replace bulb..... Do you seriously have to take the whole unit out to replace a bulb?

It costs more than that just to get these buttwipes into court in the first place.......shows that crime DOES pay.... WAKE UP BRITAIN!!!!..............the law is making an ***** out of the country. So someone tell me...what’s the deterrent?....for what reason should someone stop committing crime?

Possibly daft questions....but...... Have you felt the radiators to see if there is heat at the top and bottom of the rads?.......... Have you bled each rad in the system? You might have some carp flowing round the system....do you know the last time the water was treated?

Yep i hear they now have detectors for cars trying to get away with inflatable (ahem) passengers, to avoid fines.

Those reversing lines are a good feature. I would nip back and ask them to demonstrate it if you are unsure. (They should be happy to do this, .....i would have thought)

I am gob smacked that someone used silicon.....is this usual practice? the rest sound quite minor. I think the new GS is nice, and hope your overall experience of the car is a happy one. Especially as you can compare it to a certain German manufacturer. :)

OK all you lot with the Belkin Pre-N... 1. what firmware are you all using? and for 2, can you go to the bbc.co.uk, and play around with the weather links........."local 5 day forcast", "24 Hour forcast" etc........and tell me if anythink happens? Honest, i don't know why it ONLY happens when i hit those links.......FREAKY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you ever find the BELKIN Pre-N locks up on occasion? I found going to bbc.co.uk, then trying the 5 day forcast link, has this amazing abilty 7in10 of making me require a reboot of the router..........bloody ODD!!!

I'm in no rush Ian... Got a call today to say "your car is ready, and what time would you like to pick it up"....to which this time i did reply "a years time" :)....they didnt go for it...Bugger :( OK anyway, i went back and collected mine, and I still really like mine, and i will try to be unbiased..... Car i had was an SE/Auto....Caspian Blue (I think) It still as elephant ear door mirrors, and a fat butt. :) It does have a nicer, more up-market feel to the interior....very comfy and good driving position. The seats have lumbar support that hits the right spot (at least for me) The layout Is fine, a few buttons etc were not vewable from my driving position. Center armrest/console is great.(perfect for resting the left arm on) The warm/cold air drafting up throughthe seats is going to be nice in the summer (I would still suggest no shorts though) :) I do feel though, that they have lost a little leg room for rear passengers in comparison to when im sitting in my IS. Better engine noise............when you can hear the engine. and does feel like it has a bit more grunt....i can just imagine the IS350! The gearchange is great, but i found it a little slow on the actual gearchange when using the paddles/stick manually. It deosn't have the presence, for me, that the IS 200 had when i first saw it. Would i buy 1 .............. NEW?....No....as i wouldn't buy a base model and the extras add up (A LOT) USED?..... possibly, but i would also look seriously at a 2nd hand GS and RX also. If i was given one?...(A CAR!) :winky: .......Yes! Any Questions?
