  1. i think this has been readvertised. if it is it was stolen by someone taking the keys. I dont think it causes a problem for insurance etc, but might be worth phoning round to check.
  2. I've decided......... i need MORE MONEY ;)
  3. I was doing the same thing too...........mebe......we're all nuts I got all 5 replaced at bracknell (same as reading i believe?).......and im not sure if they are refurbs or new????? (is there a way to tell?) Far better than the objects they replaced though.
  4. Have to say that the paint (although i love the colour) is the worst iv had on any car i've owned, even going way back to a 73 ford escort. At least the paint stayed on the car. I have been told its because of the reduction or elimination of the lead content that used to be used. If so im sure there is a better substitute that what they put on the cars now. I havn't heard of the same amount of complaints from owners of other vehicles. Bobski. <_<
  5. If you had looked on a certain auction site 2 weeks back a set of 5 with tyres went for 400 pounds. I see them come up now and again....mebe worth it if you arnt in a hurry.
  6. How much would a replacement pillar piece be anyway???? Mine has a few marks....not from me as i dont smoke in the car (much anyway) Not sure if the wire brush would work (light interior) but might try it.
  7. I looked for 2 yrs trying to find a GOOD Celica GT4 (very underated car)...pretty hard to find one considering they stopped in the UK in 96. I traveled up to liverpool and Bradford on the hunt...but to no avail. :( Then looked at the Grey import Misubushi FTO/GTO (hideous Ins quote for what they are) Pondered for ages about what else...didnt want "RUN OF THE MILL" :duh: I was looking at the Beemers too, but.....i took a lexus for a drive and apart from being the nicest drive i have had, i noticed that ppl actually let me out at junctions (if it was a beemer they wouldnt) Anyway I love the thing, and the GF keeps nabbing it at every oppertunity ("O...is your car behind mine...then i'll have to take it in the morning!" (no chance)
  8. Mine are on the books for replacing next week. BTW, set of 5 going on ebay i saw today.
  9. Im sposed to be getting my alloys changed at Lexus Bracknell next week, after quite a bit of 2ing and THROWING!........I'll let you all know how it goes there. So far they havnt been bad, changed water pump and hi-fi with no problem.
  10. Can any of you tell me the part number of the greenstuff pads? They do 2 types, so im a bit confused which to order. :duh:
  11. I bought a solid alloy replacement via ebay, looks ok, and dont ask me why gearchange feels easier
  12. Cant help it......................its my highly deductive mind.............I FINK
  13. Ahaaaa....... Swap boot lids and get the nicer spoiler!......nice way to do it as the sport is stuck with the sport spoiler. Well played that man :hocus-pokus: :hohoho:
  14. I wouldnt just go on the price in parkers, id also go through the car trader magazine sites and see what similar are going for......... !d prob put at between 15,250 and 16,500 looking at a well known auto trader site. ;)
  15. Hi all, Picked up my IS 200 Sport today and i was insured with "Bell Direct" on the old car.....It cost an extra 150 on top of the original 300 (for the old car) with 8 months left to go before i do the usual Insurance hunt. Also got a discount for putting my partner on the insurance.
