I think 3.7 is the latest CD based update, i updated mine from 3.4. (not a huge difference TBH)...btw the 3.4 was the original disk from 2000. Are you sure you havnt got crossed wires on the 2.1 disc...it sounds like it might be a dvd version update.

you should look into buying outside the UK! I have a TAG, and love it. Never had to adjust it in 2 yrs.

Just a note.... You may invalidate your 12 yr Lexus body warranty if you do not have it repaired via a toyota/Lexus approved bodyshop. Read youe T&C's or contact Lexus GB before going elsewhere.

Might be something to do with the cylinders coming up and iether hitting or not hitting the valves. Only ever lost a belt 1 time (touch wood), all i needed was to put a new belt on it (old for OHC 2l engine......) -

I have seen these too, was going to ask the same Q :) The kit is about 30-40 ISTR Halfords staff are apparently getting trained to do FREE Aircon tests.

The IS does have a heated screen, well the SE and Sport. But it is a band at the bottom of the screen where the wipers are. If you are thinking along the lines of the Ford style "Quick Clear" screens, i believe they are only ford fit.
