As you can actually get an MOT that is for 13 months, i would advise putting it into the dealer for the MOT a month before due date. Then hopfully any problems will be under warranty. Just my thoughts :)

OK ya twisted me arm...........ill hang on to them for when i paint mine :) BTW..Has anyone who has used Hamerite noticed the paint flake due to the temperature? Heard someone mention (dont think it was here) that it might not be up to the job due to brake temp)

Halfords do a compound (about £3) that says it is for all paint types, so after building up the layers of touch up paint it could be used to blend/level the area. Compound (i believe) is somewhat like T-cut, but i would think a little more abbrasive. (so be careful with it) Also it would need a good waxing after.

Yeah bring the pot of paint to JAE :D I will be doing mine the same colour, when i get round to it, i saw the dark blue hamerite, and wondered if it would look ok. And it does :)
