  1. hey asinn I thought the 2nd time you tuned the car it was ok. Is the problems back again?
  2. 3rd RUN Date:27/02/02 Time: 1:13am temp: 16C length: 126m note: 2 in the car, me and my gf, plus my puppy. Petrol 1/4 tank. traction off, power mode. Pedal to the metal D gear Time: 7.46sec I am now 1.4 sec behind ya Superchargedmorph. The gap is closing in..   3. I know a guy in Sydney that has unichip in his auto. The first tune was bad so he too it to another tuner. Overall with exhaust and airfilter 10kw extra was obtained.

  6. im using iridium spark plugs.. but they are now ner 3 years old.. when should i change the plugs?

  8. Morph: Mine is the Apex'i Rev Speed Meter. It's hooked up to the actual speedometer so it's a bit more accurate than Gtech. It also has an additional Gforce sensor to allow you to view your HP and gforce on the car whilst turning.

  16. There are more and more company coming out with S/C especially Jap tuning companies like BLITZ. Overall S/C and turbo is relatively the same, similar speed and power output. But the power is delivered differently. For day to day application I would say go s/c. Torque is at lower revs than turbo, thus more drivability. But if you want bang for your bucks, turbo would be a cheaper conversion to do with more power output. Then consider the warranty. TTE / Lexus will have warranty over the s/c whilst my turbo Lexus won't provide warranty. My turbo setup hasn't been as researched as much as TTE s/c, it's a custom job. If you are interested AVO has a dealer in the UK I believe. Why did I choose turbo not s/c ?? because my kit is AUD7500 whilst TTE s/c is AUD13000 kit alone, custom made s/c kit is AUD9000. I opted for the cheaper package.
  17. haha yeah! I think the s/c would sound sweet especially in the 6MT.. go thru all 6 gears down your street!
  18. If you want more revs gor for the final gear 4.7:1 That'll help you rev easier and improve the times a bit.

  20. i'd say add 1.5sec to 2sec difference to auto. s0 if morph here dot 6.9sec (right?) then we should get around 8.5sec-9sec runs. Im basing this on 9.2 sec for stock IS200 6MT and 11.2sec stock IS200 4AT.
